Damar Glen Rabbit Stud

Dwarf Lop, Netherland Dwarf, Sable Rabbit Breeder - Somersby, NSW

We are a new stud that takes pride in the hard work our Bunnies put into becoming the best of the breed that they can be, having plenty of free play on 22 acres of grass and still having the safety of night and day area hutches for warmth and comfort. We pride ourselves in being the only Stud that vaccinates 100% of our rabbits whether they will be Pets or Show Quality, none are discriminated and all are health checked by Vet on the Road (Tom) at 10 weeks of age, then vaccinated, wormed, and all other relevant treatments done.

At a 94.7% retention rate, we rarely have any for adoption so when we do they are gone very quickly. The bubs are handled daily from the day they are born and some even hand fed from day one if the need arises. We do not cull our rabbits, sell them for pet food or to testing facilities. All our rabbits remain on the farm unless adopted by a well screened checking process prior to adoption day. They are all toilet trained and harness trained, and friendly.

We are slowly improving the quality of our breeding program but on the rabbits terms, not ours. And we only breed 2 times a year so that mummas and bubs have plenty of mother and daughter / son time before either their Show careers or Pet Lives start. The Bunnies health and wellbeing is the most important to us at Damar Stud Rabbitry.
