I'm a registered ANKC breeder for American Akitas. My main focus for my breeding program is for the ethical preservation and improvement of the Akita breed. My foundation girls are imports from Russia and are certified and cleared of hereditary diseases such as HD, ED, PRA and free of luxating patellas.

All prospective buyers will go through a thorough screening process prior to getting on a waiting list, as it's important to ensure that the akita is suited to you and your lifestyle.

I have a professional dog training background of 10 years, and one of my main focuses on top of breeding for health and betterment of the breed is to also ensure my puppies go through essential environmental desensitisation exposure to different sounds, animals, surfaces, people, travel etc so that they are well prepared for the world once moving on to knew homes. Breeder Questionnaire

Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? Do you have sensible, sustainable breeding strategies in place to promote the health of your dogs and puppies?

Yes

Hip and elbow scores passed and certified. Eye Certificate clear of PRA. Luxating patellas cleared by physical examination while under sedation.

Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?

Yes

Absolutely. I utilise early neurological stimulation in early days after birth. Incorporate puppy culture development and apply my own in-depth and safe environmental desensitisation training and exposure up until pups go to new homes. Pups are crate trained and leash trained too and exposed to different animals, dogs and environments and people etc safely.

Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?

Lifelong support to puppy owners. All prospective puppy buyers are heavily screened prior to getting on my waitlist.
