Romeouws breed Persians and Exotics in solid, tabby and Himalayan colours. We are a PKD negative cattery and DNA our breeders. Our kittens are raised indoors and are well socialise. We show to make sure our cats meet breed standard and and one of our queens was runner up Kitten of the year for 2019 . Our showing efforts in 2023 delivered a runner up Kitten of the Year, home bred I Kiko Mio and a 4th Kitten of the yea, Baby Blue. We hope to have kittens again from September2024 onwards.

To go on a waiting list, you have to email us, telling us what type of home you can offer and then we will forward an adoption questionnaire and more information.

Pet kittens sometimes available and come:
- vaccinated and vet checked x2
- desexed
- 6 week free Pet Plan insurance
- information folder
- pet pedigree from GCCFV
- dry food they had being having & some tinned food
- basic grooming tools (that we use!)

Question. Are you a current member of any breed clubs and/or associations?

Question. Do you health test in accordance with the current standards and recommended guidelines for your breed? Can you demonstrate your knowledge of any required DNA or other health related test results concerning your breed (if applicable).
Yes
All my foundation cats were DNA tested for PKD status, we are a PKD negative cattery. Our new breeders all have a full breed profile DNA test.
Question. Do you ensure that your kittens are appropriately socialised? Please provide details about how you raise your kittens to ensure that their environmental and social needs are met, that they are suitable as pets. And, do you ensure that the new family understands and is equipped to continue this socialisation?
Yes
My kittens are born and raised indoors. Once they leave the nest, they are in pens in living areas ( untill they are litter box trained) to get used to a normal homes routines and noises. Shortly after their first vaccines they are introduced to some of my desexed cats to learn from them.
Question. What written information about the conditions of sale, warranty, and information concerning the care and maintenance of the breed do you provide?
Yes
We only sell to indoor homes, have an adoption Questionaire and abide by GCCFV's Code of Conduct.
Question. Is ensuring that your kittens go to the right home a high priority? How do you ensure that the kitten will be a good fit, and be well cared for in its new home? Do you have a verbal or personal interview?
Yes
Building a relationship with prospective new owners are the way to go. Word of mouth referrals are always welcomed.
Question. Do you offer ongoing support? For example: Help with introducing a kitten to other animals; help with any health or behavioural problems that might occur.
Yes
I love receiving feedback on how a kitten is settling in and will do my utmost to help if a problem arise. I am a phone call or message away.
Question. In the long term, do you assist with re-homing a kitten or cat if for some reason the new family are unable to care for it?
Yes

Question. Do you offer pet insurance?
Yes
I provide a 6 week free Pet Plan insurance that covers a kitten for any accidents or injury after 3 days of pick up and for illness after 7 days.
