We are a small kennel located in the northern suburbs. At Belchlo we take pride in bringing up beautiful and healthy British Bulldogs. Our breeding program is solely aimed at enhancing the breed with carefully selected British Bulldogs, health, temperament and structure are our targets.

All our dogs and puppies are health tested. We dedicate a lot of our time to the proper upbringing and socialisation of our puppies with people, children and other dogs. We actively show around Victoria and interstate. Please note we do not answer emails asking about British Bulldog puppies unless we have previously spoken to you. If you wish to talk to us about any future litters we might have, please call and talk to us in the first instance.

Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? Do you have sensible, sustainable breeding strategies in place to promote the health of your dogs and puppies?

Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?

Our puppies are socialised with other dogs, people and lots of noises.

Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?

We provide a de-sexing sale agreement, puppy health agreement that puppy should be taken to vet within 3 days of purchase. I provide ongoing lifetime support. I like to meet the people personally before I sell my puppies. If I see someone just standing there and not interacting with the puppy I know that they are not really interested.

Question. Is ensuring that your puppies go to the right home a high priority? What type of measures do you take to ensure your dogs and puppies are going to go to loving homes?

I have an agreement if for any reason they are no longer able to keep the puppy they must let me know and I will rehome the puppy/dog as I would like to know where my dogs go.
