Breeder Questionnaire

Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? Do you have sensible, sustainable breeding strategies in place to promote the health of your dogs and puppies?

Yes

My dogs and puppies get any treatment required whether it be regular worming down to anything needed from a vet. My dogs are my children so there are no expenses spared

Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?

Yes

My puppies are handled by children and other people and also socialised with other dogs prior to being sent to new homes

Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?

As stated above my dogs are my children they will not be sent anywhere unless I feel comfortable with the home being offered and this is done through by phone conversations and face to face interviews

Question. Is ensuring that your puppies go to the right home a high priority? What type of measures do you take to ensure your dogs and puppies are going to go to loving homes?

Yes

I have a contract to be signed on the purchase of my puppies for desexing and also in the event that the new owners can no longer care for the puppy it can come back to me. I also offer insurance with my puppies and ongoing support. I also asked for references from the purchases vet and other support networks that can vouch for the buyer also I will go and see the new home to ensure that it is appropriate for my puppies

I send a full information pack with my puppies and also my assurances that I am available 24/7 via phone if there is any need

I always offer 10 weeks free insurance through Petplan

Question. Do you assist the buyer with re-homing an animal that was purchased from you if they are unable to keep it?

Yes

I would always assist however to date it has not been required
