Hera Cat and Molly Moto - Sisters in Fluff
**Enquire at adoptions@catpeople.org.au *** Please include your phone number so we can respond **
Molly Moto and Hera Kat aren't blood sisters however, they have created a sisterhood like no other. Both of these young girls were colony cats who came into care at CPoM headquarters as frightened little balls of fluff who were crated for their own safety (to ensure they were eating etc) when one day, a foster carer said she wanted to take them in and show them that humans are capable of providing love and affection, a safe space to run and play, consistent food provision, toys and treats, soft beds, sunbeams and the freedom to just be themselves.
It may have taken a few months, lots of patience, soft words of encouragement and routine, but these two fluffy princesses finally started to receive the love that they so desperately craved.
Molly Moto (grey and white) is a doe-eyed sweetheart who loves making biscuits, following her carer around the house, helping her type when she's working and snuggling up to her in bed at night.
Hera Kat (dark tortie) is the BIGGEST sook for head pets (beware the happy drool), loves playing with catnip filled toys, does zoomies throughout the house and her number one favourite thing to do? Follow Molly wherever she goes.
The girls get their strength and bravery from each other and the move to their forever home will no doubt have an initial set back in their confidence however, they will quickly come around in a quiet home that proves to be calm and safe. The girls will likely always run for cover when the doorbell rings or there are strange people in the house but their foster carer assures us that they come around very quickly. It's reached a point where the more love they can receive, the better!
Molly and Hera need a quiet home with no children under 12. Molly loves her foster carers polite little Jack Russell, but Hera has never really come around to being a big fan of the canine species.
You will need to be patient for a couple of weeks when you first bring these special girls home. Let them find their joint hidey hole, let them come out of said hidey hole while you're sleeping and inspect their new surroundings, shake the treat bag, use the laser pointer to engage them in play, keep a regular feeding routine and give them time to trust that this new home is a safe space filled with love.
Hera Kat and Molly Moto are healthy raw/high quality fed cats who have been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (Hera Kat microchip #956000011198421, Molly Moto microchip #953010100436753, source #RE101165). They are available for adoption right now!
