Buddy - Loves to Be Brushed

Buddy was adopted as a kitten by his first owner, and six years later she became unwell and had to go into care. He went to live with one of the adult children but being used to being the only cat for almost all his life, he didn't fit in with the resident cats. So Buddy is looking for his forever home with his very own human/s to love.

Buddy is a lovely fluffy tabby and white boy who is inquisitive, easy going and sweet natured. He loves to play with his human and can be boisterous! Buddy is very affectionate with his people but also when he needs space, will take himself off alone and be solitary... it never lasts too long, he will come looking for you! His meow is very loud, it's "where are you!!!" until he finds you and then he's all purrs and making biscuits (kneading). Buddy has an excellent appetite and is not fussy with his food.

Buddy loves to be patted endlessly when sitting on the couch with his person, and also loves a good firm brushing, particularly around the head and ears. He shies away and runs to his sanctuary space with people he doesn't know, loud noises make him nervous and he doesn't mix well with other cats. Definitely needs to be king of his home!

Buddy is used to having one on one attention from a person that lives alone, but would also do well with a couple or a family with older children. He does like time on his own as well, but when he wants time with you, he will come seeking you for attention. Buddy is fully toilet trained and uses his litter tray, but also likes time outside. He has been enjoying some walks around the garden on a lead and harness and at his previous home, he had a cat run outside.

If you are looking for a loving constant companion who won't crowd you all the time (just some of the time!), then Buddy is the boy for you. Enjoying brushing a fluffy cat is mandatory, it's good for both of you. We think Buddy would be an excellent emotional support animal if you are at home a lot and don't have a noisy household. To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.

Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.

We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.

You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
