How Marshmallow and his family came into care is quite the story. A kind person fed a skinny stray tabby cat. The next day she moved into the persons garage with her four tiny kittens! Kind person posted the story on social media and we offered to help. And that's how Marshmallow ended up in care with Cat People of Melbourne.
Marshmallow is a stunning brown striped and spotted tabby. This boy is known for his passion for food (he's a growing boy), having the biggest purr and he adores children. The local kids all come and play with the kittens (gently and respectfully of course).
Marshmallow loves food, cuddles, playing with other kittens and humans - the order of preference depends on the time of day. He is a people-friendly, good-natured and active little guy. When Marshmallow plays he is a comedian, everything is done in a funny and amusing way, he loves the attention that getting laughs gets him.
Marshmallow does everything with 100% enthusiasm, and as a result can be a little rough when playing. He's also very enthusiastic with his litter, which means he makes a bit of a mess - highly recommended a hooded or top entering litter tray.
When playtime is over and that energy is expended, Marshmallow loves nothing more than snuggling and cuddling with his humans and other cat friends, he is a very affectionate loving little man.
Marshmallow does not like late meals, not getting enough attention and his litter not being clean. You've been warned. That food must be on time and that litter must be spotless and he is King Kitten of the World. Maybe not the whole world, just king in your heart.

Marshmallow is a healthy raw/high quality fed kitten who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #953010006875197, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption. His adoption fee also includes his second vaccination at one of our rescue vets.

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
