What do we say about Chance? Quiet, super sweet, friendly, loving, snuggly.

Chance has lived his whole life in foster care, arriving as a bottle baby. He will be celebrating his second birthday just before Christmas.

Chance grew up in a home with a menagerie - cats, dogs, ferrets, birds. He is friends with all of them, though we are still working on understanding birds don't play like his other friends, we just hang out with them. He is happy in the company of dogs, but does best with low energy K9s.

Chance has not been exposed to young children. He doesn't seek out the attention of older kids until they have quietened down. that come and visit, until they have been here a while and are settled down.

Chance enjoys playing with the other cats in care and on his own. He has a favourite toy he carries around the house. He is very gentle in everything he does. He has a slight mischievous side. Cardboard boxes are not safe! He loves them and when finished playing in them he will turn them into confetti.

Chance enjoys a good snuggle. He likes to sit on the couch alongside his human. Sometimes he will seek more affection and will curl up in his human's lap. Mink blankets, and alike items like dressing gowns, bring him comfort and he tends to suck on them before settling in for a nap. He occasionally likes to sleep on the bed.

Chance is medium to long hair. He will require grooming, as he tends to develop knots/mats in his tail and back legs.

As Chance has never been on his own before, he ideally needs a companion. Chance has the perfect low-key personality for retired people. Or a quieter home that is seeking someone to dote and in return receive a bit of a giggle and a whole lot of love.

Chance is a healthy raw/high quality fed cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #956000015848896, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption right now! His adoption fee also includes his second vaccination at one of our rescue vets.
