At Warbo Cattery, we are passionate about breeding beautiful Burmese kittens true to the breed standard, with vigor and personality plus!
Burmese are born with attitude and grow up to be the most wonderful family pets. As adults, Burmese are confident, intelligent, friendly, outgoing and love to be around people. Your guests will fall for them too. They can also be laid back and very devoted to their owner as well as being active. I know that you will be making the right choice when you add one of these happiest and most sensual felines to your home.
Two kittens are often better than one. They play with each other and retain their natural cat instincts, not to mention how entertaining it is for you to watch them play.
Over 52 years I have never had one returned yet!
For those of you who are willing to be patient, I am now taking kitten bookings for April/May kittens.

Please email me and I will explain how this works.
IF YOU ARE HAPPY TO WAIT PLEASE SEND ME AN EMAIL.
You need to book your kitten now to avoid disappointment. I am a hobby breeder and as such there are a limited number of kittens available each year.
If you are sending a cat to or from all cities and some regional areas in Australia, and overseas, we can arrange shipment at a discounted price.
Cats travel exceptionally well and when you take your kittens out of the crate they will be purring. I freight 30-40 kittens a year and there have never been any issues. Royal Paws also offers road transport.
I have been breeding Burmese for 52 years and I am a registered breeder.

Our standards & practices

Health testing & screening

Question. Do you health test in accordance with the current standards and recommended guidelines for your breed? Can you demonstrate your knowledge of any required DNA or other health related test results concerning your breed (if applicable).
Answer. Yes.Veterinarian visits every 2 months for consultation and general health check of cats and kittens. Otherwise, he is on call. All kittens are vaccinated, microchipped and desexed before they are sold.

Preparation & socialisation

Question. Do you ensure that your kittens are appropriately socialised? Please provide details about how you raise your kittens to ensure that their environmental and social needs are met, that they are suitable as pets. And, do you ensure that the new family understands and is equipped to continue this socialisation?
Answer. Yes.Groomed daily, hand-fed until independent, playtime morning and night. Familiar with Vaccum cleaner and other domestic sounds. The kittens are familiar with different people handling and playing with them.

Placement & matching

Question. Is ensuring that your kittens go to the right home a high priority? How do you ensure that the kitten will be a good fit, and be well cared for in its new home? Do you have a verbal or personal interview?
Answer. Yes. The buyer has usually waited over 3 and up to 9 months to receive this kitten. The whole family has been dying to get the kitten and has learned whatever they can do on the internet on how to care and feed and look after the kitten.
Question. What written information about the conditions of sale, warranty, and information concerning the care and maintenance of the breed do you provide?
Answer. Yes.The internet covers education for kitten and cat care and breed information and colours available in the breed. When the kitten is being purchased, I spend half an hour with the buyer to go through the important details. The kitten goes with dietary instructions and a new travel crate with blanket.

Ongoing support

Question. Do you offer ongoing support? For example: Help with introducing a kitten to other animals; help with any health or behavioural problems that might occur.
Answer. Yes.Warranty up to 16 weeks of age.
Question. In the long term, do you assist with re-homing a kitten or cat if for some reason the new family are unable to care for it?
Answer. Yes.All they have to do is ask.
