Ragdoll Cat Breeder - Toowoomba, QLD

Located on our small family farm in Queensland, we raise our little beauties where they are well loved by our family and other pets.

Registered with FCCQ, all kittens sold as pets come de-sexed, microchipped, vet checked, up to date with worming and with a minimum of two vaccinations, and include pedigree papers. All breeding cats have been DNA tested negative for PKN and HCM, and along with kittens are fed a premium diet to ensure the health of all animals.

Our aim is breeding quality ragdoll kittens for families to love and adore.

Breeder Questionnaire

Question. Are you a current member of any breed clubs and/or associations?
No
Question. Do you health test in accordance with the current standards and recommended guidelines for your breed? Can you demonstrate your knowledge of any required DNA or other health related test results concerning your breed (if applicable).
Yes
All animals are DNA tested for HCM and PKD prior to entering our breeding program to ensure that all progeny are healthy. Results are available to clients upon request.
Question. Do you ensure that your kittens are appropriately socialised? Please provide details about how you raise your kittens to ensure that their environmental and social needs are met, that they are suitable as pets. And, do you ensure that the new family understands and is equipped to continue this socialisation?
Yes
Our kittens and cats are handled daily by members of our family (including small children), and also socialised with our other cats and pet dogs. When not being handled they are safely enclosed in a spacious area in our living area where they can observe and become familiar with the daily happenings of a household. A new family is invited to visit and interact with their kitten prior to purchase to ensure that they are able to capably handle their kitten, and ask any questions if they are unsure.
Question. What written information about the conditions of sale, warranty, and information concerning the care and maintenance of the breed do you provide?
Yes
A kitten information pack is sent to all buyers prior to picking up their kitten to give them time to properly set up all that their kitten requires before going home, and to give time to ask any questions that they might have concerning the young kitten's care. Recommendations are given regarding such as feed, vet care, bedding and litter, with a guarantee that they have lifelong breeder support.
Question. Is ensuring that your kittens go to the right home a high priority? How do you ensure that the kitten will be a good fit, and be well cared for in its new home? Do you have a verbal or personal interview?
Yes
I spend time talking with potential families to ensure that they understand the needs of adding a kitten to their home. I ensure that I ask about their expectations and talk them through any questions that they might have. To the best of my ability I endeavour to match the individual personality of each kitten to the potential buyer to ensure that a lifelong match is found.
Question. Do you offer ongoing support? For example: Help with introducing a kitten to other animals; help with any health or behavioural problems that might occur.
Yes
All kittens are sold with a guarantee that they have lifelong breeder support.
Question. In the long term, do you assist with re-homing a kitten or cat if for some reason the new family are unable to care for it?
Yes
In the event that a new family are unable to care for their kitten or cat, I offer to assist with re-homing.
Question. Do you offer pet insurance?
Yes
All kittens are sold with up to 2 months of pet insurance through Knose.
