We are breeders of Miniature Smooth Haired Dachshunds, and have over 50 years experience with Dachshunds.
Sonree is our kennel name, although this is a little misleading, as we have no kennel. All our dogs are reared indoors, in the comfort of our home. They are bred for temperament, soundness and type. Selectively breeding... quietly achieving.
I have been a member of Dogs NSW for over 30 years and have held office as both Treasurer and Secretary for the Brunswick valley kennel club for almost 30 years. I am on the committee for Brunswick Valley Kennel Club, Combined Northern Rivers Kennel Club, Tweed River KC and member of Kyogle KC NSW.

Answer. Yes.Our puppies are all raised inside our home and are very well socialised with children, as our neighbours have young children who spend many hours visiting our dogs

Question. Is making sure your puppies go to the right homes a priority? How do you ensure they are placed in loving, responsible homes?
Answer. Yes.I spend as much time as possible letting prospective buyers of our puppies know as much as I possibly know of my breed and its requirements

Answer. Yes.Absolutely if any of our SONREE bred dogs are in an unsatisfactory or unfortunate situation we will have them returned to us for rehoming whatever time that might take.
