Do you have a lap for one of our kittens? We are an open cattery and invite you to meet our British Shorthair kittens. Be warned; you will fall in love instantly, become cat obsessed and deeply passionate of this wonderful breed.

Regal Lane prides themselves in breeding exceptional quality cats and pouring our heart and soul into their upbringing.

DNA and feline disease testing is carried out on our breeding cats to ensure a history of good health.

Question. Do you ensure that your kittens are appropriately socialised? Please provide details about how you raise your kittens to ensure that their environmental and social needs are met, that they are suitable as pets. And, do you ensure that the new family understands and is equipped to continue this socialisation?

Yes

We are a small, family owned cattery and pride ourselves in socializing our kittens, ready for their new families. If our kittens are not confident, happy and healthy, we will not let them leave until they are ready.

Question. What written information about the conditions of sale, warranty, and information concerning the care and maintenance of the breed do you provide?

Yes

We provide a contract outlining the conditions of sale. We also provide information in regards to feeding, settling and introducing your new kitten to children and other household pets.

Question. Is ensuring that your kittens go to the right home a high priority? How do you ensure that the kitten will be a good fit, and be well cared for in its new home? Do you have a verbal or personal interview?

Yes

We are an open cattery and invite everyone to meet and bond with our kittens and their parents. We take every opportunity to chat over the phone and get to know our new families.

Question. Do you offer ongoing support? For example: Help with introducing a kitten to other animals; help with any health or behavioural problems that might occur.

Yes

I am more than happy to offer assistance and support if need be.

Question. In the long term, do you assist with re-homing a kitten or cat if for some reason the new family are unable to care for it?

Yes

Absolutely. It is of utmost importance that our kittens and cats have loving, safe homes.
