Although officially started in 2021, our breeding history predates the Purrsace brand back to 2018. Founded as a joint venture by Christel & Nathan, we have a vision to share our love and joy of this breed with the world at large. Fostered by some of the best Ragdoll breeders in Melbourne, our cattery can boast equivalent breeding standards, philosophy, and Queens coming from such lines of show-quality gold champions known for their size, temperament and winning aesthetic.
Because we are serious about the welfare of our babies, we expect equivalent levels of care and devotion from our new owners and reserve the right not to sell unless we are confident that our Kittens will be leaving for the perfect home.

Question. Do you health test in accordance with the current standards and recommended guidelines for your breed? Can you demonstrate your knowledge of any required DNA or other health related test results concerning your breed (if applicable).

Question. Do you ensure that your kittens are appropriately socialised? Please provide details about how you raise your kittens to ensure that their environmental and social needs are met, that they are suitable as pets. And, do you ensure that the new family understands and is equipped to continue this socialisation?

Once our kittens are born, we focus on slowly introducing them to their new home environment, new smells as well as our human kisses and cuddles. After vaccinations they are then allowed to roam the house, hear new sounds, meet and play with our other Purrsace kittens and eventually they get to hang around with our friendly French Bulldog Hela.
Question. What written information about the conditions of sale, warranty, and information concerning the care and maintenance of the breed do you provide?
Yes
10% deposit required, non-refundable except for exceptional circumstances; 6-month health warranty, life time warranty against HCM (heart disease) and PKD (polycystic kidney disease).
Question. Is ensuring that your kittens go to the right home a high priority? How do you ensure that the kitten will be a good fit, and be well cared for in its new home? Do you have a verbal or personal interview?

Yes
Yes, here at Purrsace, we ensure that our kittens go to loving homes and have ongoing support. But in circumstances where they are no longer able to care for it, we can assist looking for a new human family.
