Health testing & screening
Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? If your breed is prone to health issues, what are they, and what testing practices do you have in place?
Answer. Yes.We’ve done extensive health testing, specifically focusing on airways but not limited too. Trachea, Nares, CFR and spine are a huge focus in our program. We’re working closely with other breeders and Vets to get better breathing.
Preparation & socialisation
Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?
Answer. Yes.Absolutely! Our pups grow up with dogs, cats, children and people. We want them to have the best kickstart as possible.
Placement & matching
Question. Is making sure your puppies go to the right homes a priority? How do you ensure they are placed in loving, responsible homes?
Answer. Yes.We want to meet our potential buyer, we want them to research and learn about French bulldogs being a BOAS breed. We expect them to have a high level of understanding in BOAS and what it takes to own a French bulldog.
