Namrib Birmans - Newcastle, NSW
Registered Birman Cat Breeder

I was first introduced to the Birmans in 1995. Since then I have been showing and breeding and been an active member of breed and all breeds cat clubs around Australia.

I tool a break from breeding for 20 years while concentrating on my Papillon dogs, and work.
Since coming back to breeding I have become a member of Both NSW and QLD Birman club.

My cats are born and raised in my house. This is a multi animal house and all of my Papillons, the resident Ragdoll and all other Birmans help bring up the babies. I socialise my babies with humans of all ages including children/teenagers with disabilities.

Because my kittens are well socialised they do become a litter over the top and very social. They will demand pats by the public at cat shows and if you pull out your camera look out they will pose.

Birmans are a highly intelligent, social breed. They are a great family cat that can adapt to most types of households. Interactive toys that make the cat think are great for Birmans. They are easy to train to walk on a lead.

If your not sure if a Birman is right for you then give me a call and organise a time to come meet the cats in my home where you can see them in their normal space and how they interact with you and each other.
Depending on the home it is best to get 2 kittens as they can entertain each other while you are at work.
