Mochi Ragdolls is a small but passionate ragdoll cattery, registered with Feline Control Council of Victoria. We had our first two ragdolls in 2018, and loving them more every single day. Therefore in 2022, after more than three years of learning, I became a breeder with a focus on breed not only for their beauty but their temperament and great personalities. We also provide life time support to buyers to ensure our precious babies get the love, care and attention they deserve.
All of our parents are DNA tested and registered with FCCV, clear of PKD andÂ HCM.

Breeder Questionnaire

Question. Do you health test in accordance with the current standards and recommended guidelines for your breed? Can you demonstrate your knowledge of any required DNA or other health related test results concerning your breed (if applicable).

Yes

All my breeding cats have being DNA tested before they started mating. They are free of PKD and HCM which are the two well known genetic problem in ragdolls.

Question. Do you ensure that your kittens are appropriately socialised? Please provide details about how you raise your kittens to ensure that their environmental and social needs are met, that they are suitable as pets. And, do you ensure that the new family understands and is equipped to continue this socialisation?

Yes

We raise kittens in a family like environment. We have children to play with them all the time. They have their own room set up with many toys and cat trees.

Question. What written information about the conditions of sale, warranty, and information concerning the care and maintenance of the breed do you provide?

Yes

We provide life time support after kittens are sold to families. Only families that care for animals and express true feelings for ragdolls upon visiting will be considered a suitable family.

Question. Is ensuring that your kittens go to the right home a high priority? How do you ensure that the kitten will be a good fit, and be well cared for in its new home? Do you have a verbal or personal interview?

Yes

We don't sell animals to families across state. Every family that is interested in buying a kittens needs to come and meet us and our cattery in person. They are required to tell us their family background, reason of wanting a ragdoll, current living environment, current job.

Question. Do you offer ongoing support? For example: Help with introducing a kitten to other animals; help with any health or behavioural problems that might occur.

Yes

We offer life time support, any questions can be asked at any time. If there is any health issues with a kitten within a week of purchase, we guarantee refund or change of kitten.

Question. In the long term, do you assist with re-homing a kitten or cat if for some reason the new family are unable to care for it?
