Landaverg is a small family based kennel that occasionally has Long Stock Coat German Shepherds puppies available. We are registered with ANKC and all our dogs undergo DNA and hip/elbow testing prior to breeding.

We breed show quality with exceptional temperaments. Our pups are raised in a family environment surrounded by children and other animals.

We breed for quality not quantity.

Our pups come with pedigree papers with ANKC.

Breeder Questionnaire

Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? Do you have sensible, sustainable breeding strategies in place to promote the health of your dogs and puppies?

Yes

All my dogs undergo hip and elbow scoring prior to breeding. My bitches have AZ certificates to verify. I also DNA test my dogs prior to breeding.

Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?

Yes

Puppy training is started at a young age. We live on acreage and socialise our pups with cats, and live stock.

Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?

Yes

Verbal interviews and questionnaires are required before placing puppies in homes. Dogs on limited papers are to be desexed at 2yrs of age.

Question. Is ensuring that your puppies go to the right home a high priority? What type of measures do you take to ensure your dogs and puppies are going to go to loving homes?
