Our standards & practices

Health testing & screening

Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? If your breed is prone to health issues, what are they, and what testing practices do you have in place?
Answer. Yes.

Preparation & socialisation

Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?
Answer. Yes.Puppies go to safe places such as drives in our car, walks in their pram, carried around the shops etc etc as well as plenty of love and attention from myself and my husband, as we are home 24/7

Placement & matching

Question. Is making sure your puppies go to the right homes a priority? How do you ensure they are placed in loving, responsible homes?
Answer. Yes.Absolutely, this is the most important thing to me, making sure my babies only go to forever homes where they will be loved and cherished always just as they are here with us. Lots of talks and meetings take place prior to any of our babies going to their new homes, so as we can make sure, as much as possible, that they are the right homes, where our babies will be happy and well cared for, for the rest of their lives, but most importantly, loved.
Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?
Answer. Yes.I firstly ask for an email and phone call for them to tell me about themselves, the family and the home that they can offer one of our puppies, I also have a desexing contract and my babies go with care notes, diet and a puppy pack, plus my details for them to stay in touch throughout the puppies life.

Ongoing support

Question. Do you offer ongoing support?
Answer. Yes.This is noted in our care notes assuring our new parents that we are here for them and our puppy should they need us.
Question. Do you assist the buyer with re-homing an animal that was purchased from you if they are unable to keep it?
Answer. Yes.Absolutely as we want to know where our babies are and that they are safe through their lives.
