Parent's are DNA tested for hereditary traits. All kittens leave our home with a full kitten care guidelines, some initial food that they are familiar with and enjoy, and 6 weeks pet insurance. Please note: We do not advertise our kittens or cats through Trading Post, Gumtree or other advertising platforms. If you see advertisements using our pictures, description of our cattery, our registered prefix name (or a derivative of it) or our breeder registration number, you are probably looking at potential fraudsters, imposters and scammers. If you have seen our feline photos on Facebook or Instagram, please also contact us via Perfect Pets to ensure you are contacting us and not scammers.

Our standards & practices

Health testing & screening

Question. Do you health test in accordance with the current standards and recommended guidelines for your breed? Can you demonstrate your knowledge of any required DNA or other health related test results concerning your breed (if applicable).
Answer. Yes.DNA tests done to ensure no genetic defects identified in parents, do no over-breed, no over crowding, essential vaccinations & examinations done at required intervals

Preparation & socialisation

Question. Do you ensure that your kittens are appropriately socialised? Please provide details about how you raise your kittens to ensure that their environmental and social needs are met, that they are suitable as pets. And, do you ensure that the new family understands and is equipped to continue this socialisation?
Answer. Yes.Kittens are reared underfoot. They live indoors with us. After their isolation period (pre vaccination) they are relocated to our living room where they receive more familarisation with household sounds, actions, voices that are required for well socialised cats and dogs. We do not have an outdoor cattery. We also have a long haired chihuahua bitch that the cats play with and hear barking when she's on guard.

Placement & matching

Question. Is ensuring that your kittens go to the right home a high priority? How do you ensure that the kitten will be a good fit, and be well cared for in its new home? Do you have a verbal or personal interview?
Answer. Yes.We have multiple communications with intending adopting parents and we visit their premises if we are delivering the kitten.
Question. What written information about the conditions of sale, warranty, and information concerning the care and maintenance of the breed do you provide?
Answer. Yes.All of the above. We do not adopt into homes that can't assure us of keeping the cats indoors or within the confines of netted enclosures.
