German Shepherd, Chihuahua Dog Breeder - Bunbury, WA
We are ethical registered breeders. Our dogs are raised in our family home with 3 children and cats. We live on a rural farm were the dogs have large areas to runs.
Our Shepherds are hip & Elbow scored & DNA tested. We currently are doing conformation showing as well as lure coursing. In the Future we would like to add in tracking, Obedience and Dock Diving and agility.

Health testing & screening
Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? If your breed is prone to health issues, what are they, and what testing practices do you have in place?
Answer. Yes.All our Shepherds are DNA tested, hip & elbow scored. Our Chihuahuas have their patella's checked to reduce the potential Luxating Patellas.
Preparation & socialisation
Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?
Answer. Yes.Socialisation starts from when they are born, Handling them regularly. In the 8 weeks we have them they are slowly introduced to alot of different things, animals, noises, people and other dogs.
Placement & matching
Question. Is making sure your puppies go to the right homes a priority? How do you ensure they are placed in loving, responsible homes?
Answer. Yes.We find out alot from our buyers what they are looking for in their dog and that they know about the breeds needs and we also buy our pups back if for any reason the puppy buyer can't keep them, no matter the age.
Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?
Answer. Yes.We have Buyer Questionnaires, and ongoing advice for our puppy owners. Our Shepherds have a Ovarian Sparing Spay/ Vasectomy to ensure they have their hormones for growth but can't have puppies.

Question. Do you offer ongoing support?
Answer. Yes.Yes definately forever.
Question. Do you assist the buyer with re-homing an animal that was purchased from you if they are unable to keep it?
Answer. Yes.Yes we help rehome as well as buy them back.
