We have shared our lives with Australian Shepherds since 1995. We live with a small number of dogs as each dog competes in numerous activities and lives out their lives with us as family members.
The Aussie is an excellent all rounder and we have successfully competed in Obedience, Rally, Agility, Flyball, Endurance, Herding and Conformation with our dogs. We breed very occasionally when we would like a dog to join our family and prefer to home puppies in performance/sporting homes.

Health testing & screening
Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? If your breed is prone to health issues, what are they, and what testing practices do you have in place?
Answer. Yes.Hip/Elbow scoring, full DNA breed health profile, annual veterinary specialist eye exams on all breeding dogs. Puppies DNA tested and eye exam before leaving.
Preparation & socialisation
Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?
Answer. Yes.Puppy Culture Program used to socialise from 3 days to leaving.
Placement & matching
Question. Is making sure your puppies go to the right homes a priority? How do you ensure they are placed in loving, responsible homes?
Answer. Yes.As above, also my dogs are selected and bred with a sporting function in mind so I am looking for appropriate home that will provide mental and physical stimulation throughout the dogs lifetime.
Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?
Answer. Yes.Potential buyer questionnaire on contact. Phone interview, then personal visit with adult dogs and contract of sale on purchase.
Ongoing support
Question. Do you offer ongoing support?
Answer. Yes.I am available throughout the dogs lifetime for contact and support
Question. Do you assist the buyer with re-homing an animal that was purchased from you if they are unable to keep it?
Answer. Yes.Buyer must return the dog to me at any life stage if they can no longer care for the dog.
