We are a small family kennel in Perth who pride ourselves on a very ethical standard of breeding Golden Retrievers. We only breed from exceptional lines of health, outstanding conformation and temperament.
Our Golden Retriever puppies are healthy, happy, well-socialised and extremely high-quality dogs.

Breeder Questionnaire

Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? Do you have sensible, sustainable breeding strategies in place to promote the health of your dogs and puppies?

Yes

Dogs are only bred with excellent hip & elbow scores, heart and eye certificates, and from a genetically diverse breeding pool to reduce the risk of any health issues. We plan each pairing extremely carefully, and only breed our bitches every 18 months.

Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?

Yes

Puppies are raised in a family home, following the Puppy Culture program for socialisation.

Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?

Yes

Buyer questionnaire on our website, followed by an interview, and an agreement for de-sexing and re-homing stipulations.

Question. Is ensuring that your puppies go to the right home a high priority? What type of measures do you take to ensure your dogs and puppies are going to go to loving homes?

Yes

We are highly selective with potential owners, as we want to promote responsible dog ownership. We ask for a lot of detail in our application form, to ensure that potential owners have done their research, have an appropriate home for puppies, and are financially and personally prepared for the 12-15 year commitment of owning a Golden Retriever.

Question. Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes

Ongoing support throughout the puppy's life, and a Facebook group of all owners for networking, dogsitting, socialising etc.

Question. Do you offer pet insurance?

We encourage buyers to organise their own insurance, but it is their choice.

Question. Do you assist the buyer with re-homing an animal that was purchased from you if they are unable to keep it?

Yes

We ask all buyers to agree to return the dog to us if it needs re-homing, so we can find a suitable new home.
