I am a small hobby cattery and show pedigree Australian Mist, located at Freemans Reach, near Windsor NSW. Registered with the NSW CFA.
I also travel up the Far Northern Coast for new owners to pick up their kittens.

Specialising in breeding indoors quality Australian Mist cats and kittens. Excellent temperament kittens are born and raised in the family home. They are given lots of love and attention. Australian Mist cats and kittens are suited for all ages. I breed one to two litters a year.

I worked for Doctor Truda Straede the Founder of the Australian Mist, in the mid-1990s until she moved to Bunyip Vic.
I have Certificates 1, 2 and 3 in Animal care, Kennel and Cattery management and husbandry. I am also an Authorized Microchip Implanter. I have my Certificate 3 in age care Nursing.

Kittens are desexed between 12 to 16 weeks, certificate of desexing, microchipped, wormed, two vaccinations shots, vet checked certificates, pedigree papers registered with the NSW CFA, pet safe register, book of the companion cat you get a blanket, food bowl, food samples, toys, sample bag of breeder's choice. Health testing & screening

Question. Do you health test in accordance with the current standards and recommended guidelines for your breed? Can you demonstrate your knowledge of any required DNA or other health related test results concerning your breed (if applicable).

Preparation & socialisation

Question. Do you ensure that your kittens are appropriately socialised? Please provide details about how you raise your kittens to ensure that their environmental and social needs are met, that they are suitable as pets. And, do you ensure that the new family understands and is equipped to continue this socialisation?
Answer. Yes.They are raised in the family home (lounge room) with m little dog (Chihuahua)

Placement & matching

Question. Is ensuring that your kittens go to the right home a high priority? How do you ensure that the kitten will be a good fit, and be well cared for in its new home? Do you have a verbal or personal interview?
Answer. Yes.I encourage a visit who may wish to purchase. I also do not mine if they would like to visit again after kittens first vaccines. All cats/kittens are indoors, or they may enjoy a cat enclosure. It is not a safe place for your cat or kitten to run freely outside. Your pets are part of your family. You have a Duty of Care to take care of them and love them.
Question. What written information about the conditions of sale, warranty, and information concerning the care and maintenance of the breed do you provide?
Answer. Yes.I provide diet and care info sheets. Should the kitten be unsatisfactory, in the accordance with the N.S.W Code of Practice for the operation of Breeding and Rearing (Section 9.1.1.7) refund policy applies.

Ongoing support

Question. Do you offer ongoing support? For example: Help with introducing a kitten to other animals; help with any health or behavioural problems that might occur.
Answer. Yes.After cats / kittens are purchased, I call them to check how the cats/ kittens settling in and how the new owner is coping and if they have any further questions. I stay connected with them by phone or email.
Question. In the long term, do you assist with re-homing a kitten or cat if for some reason the new family are unable to care for it?
Answer. Yes.They have a home at my place. They live with me for ever.
