Affinity Ragdolls - Ragdoll Breeder - Sydney, NSW

Ragdoll Cat Breeder - Annangrove, NSW

I am committed and very passionate about all of my fur family, this is a passionate hobby and not a business. I love Showing and Educating people about the Ragdoll Breed since 2010, I also occasionally allow my girls to have a litter. As it is just as important to care and love your Adult cats to make sure they are happy and healthy. My kittens have been proof of beautiful and healthy parents, with the traditional Ragdoll traits including; big BLUE eyes & purrfect loving temperaments. I am a devoted Ragdoll Lover registered with Cats NSW, all pedigree breeding line cats are DNA tested for HCM & PKD. We also qualified as a "Cattery Of Excellence" with Australian National Cat Alliance - ANCATS.

Our kittens are raised in our home with their mum. Which means they are handled and accustomed to household noises, my husband and I and my entire family who visit, not to mention having our other pets which include our loving dog (who lives outside, but come in when there is a storm) who just love all our cats when he is allowed inside after their bath :). We do not have our pets locked away in confined cages. Our Ragdolls are STRICTLY indoor only.

We like quality not quantity, so we won't have kittens all year round, but may know of a reputable Breeder who has. If you would like to enquire about our beautiful Ragdolls or would like to be put on our waiting list, please call - Rebekah 0417 672 024.

I have also been showing my cats and kittens since I started with my very first Ragdoll, have won Best Entire, Best Desexed, Best Kitten, Best Litter, Best of Breed, Best Bred Cat by Exhibitor,1st, 2nd,3rd ,4th & 5th Top 5 awards for Sydney Royal National Championships and local Cat Shows.

Our standards & practices

Health testing & screening

Question. Do you health test in accordance with the current standards and recommended guidelines for your breed? Can you demonstrate your knowledge of any required DNA or other health related test results concerning your breed (if applicable).
Answer. Yes.Breeding line is DNA tested. Vet has visited and checked my living spaces for all my cats with approval. Kittens have at least 3 Health Checks from Birth to when they are desexed.

Preparation & socialisation

Question. Do you ensure that your kittens are appropriately socialised? Please provide details about how you raise your kittens to ensure that their environmental and social needs are met, that they are suitable as pets. And, do you ensure that the new family understands and is equipped to continue this socialisation?
Answer. Yes.All kittens are born inside our home and live with us till the day I deliver them to their new owners, who have visited on average 4-5 times after their birth. So they are handled by every family that has reserved a kitten from that litter.

Placement & matching

Question. Is ensuring that your kittens go to the right home a high priority? How do you ensure that the kitten will be a good fit, and be well cared for in its new home? Do you have a verbal or personal interview?
Answer. Yes.Apart from phone screening with detailed questions, if that meets my approval, then a home visit is arranged, and if all good, they will visit again another 4 times, to which I then deliver the kitten to their home, if unsuitable and not upto to the standard they have described - sale is cancelled.
Question. What written information about the conditions of sale, warranty, and information concerning the care and maintenance of the breed do you provide?
Answer. Yes.Personal Interview at my home, Adoption agreement.

Ongoing support

Question. Do you offer ongoing support? For example: Help with introducing a kitten to other animals; help with any health or behavioural problems that might occur.
Answer. Yes.Ongoing phone support, no matter how old the cat is.
Question. In the long term, do you assist with re-homing a kitten or cat if for some reason the new family are unable to care for it?
Answer. Yes.My adoption agreement states that if they are unable to look after the cat - it must be offered back to me, I'll pick up the cat and bring them back home to my home.

Clubs & Associations

Question. Are you a current member of any breed clubs and/or associations?
Answer. Yes.Cats NSW
