At Two Moons, we are committed to breeding healthy, affectionate, and social Burmese cats. With a deep love for the breed, we raise our kittens in a nurturing home environment, ensuring they are well-socialised and ready for their forever homes.
All studs and queens are genetically tested and healthy. We also prioritise the health of our kittens and offer a health guarantee with every kitten we sell. We specialise in solid lilac colour, but do also breed other colours. We are registered breeders with the NSWCFA.

Health testing & screening
Question. Do you health test in accordance with the current standards and recommended guidelines for your breed? Can you demonstrate your knowledge of any required DNA or other health related test results concerning your breed (if applicable).
Answer. Yes.All of our breeding cats are DNA health tested and clear of known hereditary conditions in Burmese, including Hypokalaemia, Frontonasal Dysplasia, and GM2 Gangliosidosis.
Preparation & socialisation
Question. Do you ensure that your kittens are appropriately socialised? Please provide details about how you raise your kittens to ensure that their environmental and social needs are met, that they are suitable as pets. And, do you ensure that the new family understands and is equipped to continue this socialisation?
Answer. Yes.Our kittens are raised in a loving, family-oriented environment with the normal sights and sounds of a busy household, which helps them become confident, well-adjusted pets. We also provide guidance and information to new families so they can continue this socialisation and support a smooth transition into their new home.
Placement & matching
Question. Is ensuring that your kittens go to the right home a high priority? How do you ensure that the kitten will be a good fit, and be well cared for in its new home? Do you have a verbal or personal interview?
Answer. Yes.Ensuring our kittens go to the right home is a top priority. We screen potential owners verbally and in person, and our focus is always on matching each kitten with the most suitable forever home where they will be well cared for.
Question. What written information about the conditions of sale, warranty, and information concerning the care and maintenance of the breed do you provide?
Answer. Yes.We provide a comprehensive kitten pack that includes a care guide, details of health and maintenance specific to the breed, written conditions of sale, and important veterinary information.
Insurance options
Question. Do you offer pet insurance?
Answer. Yes.Every kitten goes home with 2 months of complimentary pet insurance for added peace of mind.
Ongoing support
Question. Do you offer ongoing support? For example: Help with introducing a kitten to other animals; help with any health or behavioural problems that might occur.
Answer. Yes.We provide lifelong support to our kitten owners, offering guidance with introductions, health or behavioural concerns, and general care.
Question. In the long term, do you assist with re-homing a kitten or cat if for some reason the new family are unable to care for it?
Answer. Yes.If, for any reason, you need to rehome your Burmese cat, we ask that you contact us directly so that we can work together to find a suitable new home. We will never pass judgment and are committed to ensuring your cat is placed in a loving, caring environment.
