The Coton is the perfect little companion, very intelligent, eager to please, with a temperament and look that will melt the hearts of all that meet them.

Our aim is to breed beautiful, healthy, well socialised, well balanced, quality puppies from carefully selected Imported Bloodlines. The Coton de Tulear is hypoallergenic, so perfect for the person who may have allergies, they have no smell, wonderful temperaments, they will keep you entertained all day.

Our Cotons are all DNA tested, (Coton de Tulear Full Profile DNA), which helps us to ensure we are not only breeding QUALITY Cotons, but also very healthy, well adjusted Cotons.

All of our puppies are Parentage DNA tested, Registered with Dogs Qld (on Limited Register, meaning NOT for Showing or Breeding), Vet checked at least twice, 1st vaccination, microchipped, wormed regularly, they come with Papers, 6 weeks free pet insurance, Care notes and diet information and a desexing contract which must be signed, witnessed and returned to us prior to our babies leaving our home.

Our Cotons and babies are a very special part of our lives and our home, we are with them 24/7, so ensuring that they have the very best possible forever homes is a high priority to us, which is why we need to know a little about future adoptive parents prior to the adoption of one of our beautiful babies.

We are Dogs Queensland Members and Dogs Queensland Registered Breeders.

If you would like to learn more about this beautiful and very special breed, please call me, I would love to chat with you.

Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you, Debbie.

Our standards & practices

Health testing & screening

Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? If your breed is prone to health issues, what are they, and what testing practices do you have in place?
Answer. Yes.We have a full Coton de Tulear DNA profile done on our breeding dogs.

Preparation & socialisation

Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?
Answer. Yes.Puppies are socialised as much as possible from the time they are born, firstly by gentle touch from us and soft voices, as they start to grow then of course lots more gentle touching, holding, massaging gently their little paws and tummy, getting them ready for grooming later on. They are raised in our home with 24/7 love and care, and with also all of the normal household noises, such as the Vacuum, TV, washing floors around them very carefully of course, the noise of dishes/pots, music, my phone, new surfaces, such as tiles and the grass and fresh air outside once they are old enough. We try to safely and responsibly get them ready for the big wide world before they leave our home.

Placement & matching

Question. Is making sure your puppies go to the right homes a priority? How do you ensure they are placed in loving, responsible homes?
Answer. Yes.Absolutely, this is the most important thing to us, making sure my babies only go to forever homes where they will be loved and cherished always, with their new families, just as they are here with us. Lots of talks and emails take place prior to any of our babies going to their new homes, so as we can make sure, as much as possible, that they are the right homes, for them and their new families. It is a huge priority that our babies are happy and well cared for, for the rest of their lives, but most importantly, loved.
Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?
Answer. Yes.I firstly ask for an email and phone call for them to tell me about themselves, the family, work commitments and the home that they can offer one of our puppies. We do have a desexing contract that must be signed, witnessed and returned to us prior to the puppies leaving our home. We also provide their new families with care notes, diet information, plus my details for them to stay in touch throughout the puppies life.

Insurance options

Question. Do you offer pet insurance?
Answer. Yes.Petcover

Ongoing support

Question. Do you offer ongoing support?
Answer. Yes.This is noted in our care notes assuring our new parents that we are here for them and our puppy should they need us.
Question. Do you assist the buyer with re-homing an animal that was purchased from you if they are unable to keep it?
Answer. Yes.Absolutely as we want to know where our babies are and that they are safe through their lives.
