Coraley Kennels - English Cocker Spaniel Breeder - Sunshine Coast, Queensland

Cocker Spaniel Dog Breeder - Sunshine Coast

Coraley Kennels is a sister kennel to Lavinto, Teeny Tails and Wagonbuts Kennels and are a proud new member and breeder of English Cocker Spaniels on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. We are a small family-based kennel where our dogs are first and foremost our pets and much-loved members of our family. We have 1 to 2 litters a year and all our pups are raised in a loving, caring, family home environment around children, family members and friends.

All our dogs are DNA tested and all our puppies come complete with puppy pack, 1st vaccination, microchip, wormed and have all relevant and necessary documentation. Our puppies are offered to approved pet only families on our wait lists with a strict de-sex term in our Adoption Agreements.

We have 2 wait lists open with 5 positions available for a litters arriving late January 2025 between my solid black beauties Pearl and Baxter (solid black and gold), and my solid gold girl Sally and chocolate roan boy Axel. This is Sallys first litter. These positions are offered via a formal Wait List Agreement.

Please contact us and tell us a little about yourself, your home and family and what adopting one of our pups means to you. At Coraley we take pride in and are committed to responding to all enquiries promptly.

Our standards & practices

Health testing & screening

Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? If your breed is prone to health issues, what are they, and what testing practices do you have in place?
Answer. Yes.All my breeding dogs get a full breed profile through Orivet. Tests include Exercise Induced Collapse, PRA, Bernard-Soulier Syndrome, Acral Mutilation Syndrome and more including AON

Preparation & socialisation

Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?
Answer. Yes.All pups are raised in a loving home around children. They are exposed to loud noises including the vacuum cleaner. They are taken on outings in the puppy pram to experience new sounds, smells and sights. They have access to the backyard where they have the opportunity to run, play, smell and explore

Placement & matching

Question. Is making sure your puppies go to the right homes a priority? How do you ensure they are placed in loving, responsible homes?
Answer. Yes.All enquiries start with an initial email. Upon receiving an email a phone call is scheduled where questions are asked about the home, the family and the lifestyle. Photos are requested of secure backyards and balconies/verandahs
Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?
Answer. Yes.De-sexing is part of the adoption agreement, I also guarantee a healthy pup on pick up and a verbal/personal interview is also a requirement

Insurance options

Question. Do you offer pet insurance?
Answer. No.

Ongoing support

Question. Do you offer ongoing support?
Answer. Yes.I always allow my families to contact me at any time should they have any questions, queries or concerns. I also take pups back if circumstances change and they can no longer care for the pup. They will be reimbursed minus the waitlist fee, cost of my time, food and vet bills should the pup require any
Question. Do you assist the buyer with re-homing an animal that was purchased from you if they are unable to keep it?
Answer. Yes.I take pups back if circumstances change and they can no longer care for the pup. They will be reimbursed minus the waitlist fee, cost of my time, food and vet bills should the pup require any
