I am a long standing registered breeder/ exhibitor of pugs for the last 30 years and all my puppies are lovingly home reared, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped, vet checked and desexed prior to leaving for their new approved homes.

Health testing & screening
Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? If your breed is prone to health issues, what are they, and what testing practices do you have in place?
Answer. Yes.I breed for the long term health of all my puppies and have been doing so for the last 35 years.
Preparation & socialisation
Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?
Answer. Yes.Our puppies are home reared and introduced to the sights and sounds of a normal household.
Placement & matching
Question. Is making sure your puppies go to the right homes a priority? How do you ensure they are placed in loving, responsible homes?
Answer. Yes.I personally interview every potential enquirer in my home before introducing them one of my pug puppies
Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?
Answer. Yes.All my puppies receive an independent health assessment from my vet, are desexed prior to leaving my home and are fully vaccinated and microchipped in accordance with state legislative requirements. My puppies are not available to new homes until they are 14 weeks of age as a consequence.
Ongoing support
Question. Do you offer ongoing support?
Answer. Yes.For the life of the dog we are available for advice.
Question. Do you assist the buyer with re-homing an animal that was purchased from you if they are unable to keep it?
Answer. Yes.I would prefer dogs are returned to me than become a problem to someone who is unable to keep it
