See our list of dogs and puppies for sale and adoption in Queensland.  When looking for a new puppy or dog it's important that you  research the dog breed you're interested in so that you understand the needs of that particular breed.  While some things like grooming needs might be fairly obvious, potential health issues in some breeds may not be so well known.    You can also try contacting Dog Breed clubs - they can be a great source of information and support as well.   All new puppies need to be well socialised to prevent unhealthy behaviour (eg. anxiety, aggression) so make sure you understand puppy socialisation and have time to socialise when the pup is 12-18 weeks of age.
