Mr. Meowgi is a big, gentle soul with a soft heart and an even softer personality -- a true "gentle giant" just waiting for the right person to see how special he is.
While his past is unknown, Mr. Meowgi has shown himself to be a shy but deeply affectionate boy who simply needs a little time to feel safe. Once he warms up, he becomes an absolute teddy bear, happiest just existing alongside his people and soaking up quiet companionship.
With his black and white splotched coat and big, solid build, he has a lovable, "big lug" presence that perfectly matches his nature. He's curious and alert, quietly observing the world around him, but prefers a calm environment where he doesn't feel overwhelmed.
Mr. Meowgi enjoys the simple things in life -- good food, the company of other cats, and sharing space with his humans. He's not demanding, but he does form strong attachments and appreciates being near his people once he feels secure. He's particularly fond of other cats and would thrive in a home with a friendly feline companion, especially if that companion can help him build confidence. He shares a special fondness for Betty Torrens and could potentially be a lovely match for her.
He is sensitive to loud noises and doesn't enjoy his space being invaded, so he will do best in a quiet, adult-only home where his boundaries are respected and he can settle at his own pace. He is not suited to living with dogs.
Mr. Meowgi is a beautiful example of a cat who just needs a chance. With patience, kindness and understanding, he will blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion who will quietly steal your heart.

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
