Romeo quite literally chose his own rescue story -- turning up at a foster carer's home and making it very clear he was ready to come inside and be cared for. Since then, this fluffy, quirky boy has been learning that indoor life comes with safety, comfort, and plenty of love.
A striking long-haired silver and black tabby with a big fluffy tail, white chest and deep yellow eyes, Romeo is as handsome as he is expressive. He's a chatty, observant boy who likes to "report" on everything happening around him -- whether it's someone at the door or a triumphant toy mouse catch, you'll always be kept in the loop.
Romeo has a sweet but sensitive nature. He can be shy and easily startled by loud noises or sudden movements, so he needs a calm, patient home where he can build confidence at his own pace. Once he feels safe, his playful and affectionate side really starts to shine. He loves toys (especially small mouse-like ones), enjoys gentle back pats, and will happily engage in conversation if you talk to him like he's one of the family.
He absolutely loves other cats and would thrive in a home with a friendly feline companion. He is not suited to living with dogs and would be best in a quieter household with older children (12+) or adults. Romeo also has an interest in the outdoors, so a secure catio or safe enclosed outdoor space would be ideal to give him that enrichment while keeping him safe.
At night, you may find him playfully attacking your feet under the covers -- just one of his many quirky and endearing traits! He also enjoys having a quiet, cosy spot to retreat to when he needs some downtime.
Romeo is a gentle, unique soul who will form a special bond with someone willing to give him time, patience and understanding. In return, you'll get a loyal, talkative companion who brings personality and warmth into your home.

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
