Nugget is a handsome tabby and white teenager with perfect eyeliner eyes and a curious, thoughtful nature who has really blossomed in care. He arrived unsure of people and preferred to observe from a safe distance, quietly watching and studying everything his humans and foster cat friends were doing. With patience, kindness and time, Nugget has grown beautifully in confidence and is now playful, cheeky, interactive and full of delightful kitten personality. He is clever, mischievous, entertaining, affectionate in his own way and wonderfully personable once he trusts you. Nugget loves playing with his foster kitty friend, enjoys interactive play with toys and hands, and is now happily discovering that pats and butt scritches are pretty great too.
Nugget will thrive in a calm, loving home with patient humans who understand shy or previously cautious cats and will give him the chance to continue building trust at his own pace. Having another friendly, confident cat in the home would be ideal as Nugget really benefits from feline companionship and reassurance. He is good with cats, selective with calm respectful dogs and children, and would suit a quieter household rather than a busy chaotic one. He currently does not like being picked up and can panic, but he is learning and doing well with gentle confidence-building handling.

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
