Honey Clowder came into care as a stray from around the upper northern suburbs, heavily pregnant and only about a week away from giving birth. She was safely caught and brought into care just in time, where she went on to raise her kittens in a safe, calm foster environment.
Honey Clowder is a beautiful domestic short hair with warm honey-tabby colouring, a striking grey raccoon-like tail and distinctive black-bottomed feet. She has a uniquely endearing, slightly derpy expression that can make her look almost cross-eyed at times, adding to her comic charm. Bright, intelligent and wonderfully chatty, Honey is curious about the world around her and enjoys being involved in household life on her own terms.
She is affectionate and cuddly once she feels safe, particularly enjoying quiet companionship and gentle interaction. Honey is starting to discover the joy of toys, with spring toys currently topping her favourites list. She is loving and protective by nature, with a sweet, silly side that comes out when she's relaxed and comfortable.
Honey can be fearful of loud noises and sudden changes and may run and hide when startled. She is particularly wary of men and can take longer to warm up, occasionally hissing or swiping if she feels frightened. Because of this, she would be best suited to a calm, patient home with older children only, where her boundaries are respected and trust can be built slowly and gently.
She gets along well with other cats and would likely do well living with one of her kittens or another calm, cat-friendly companion. Honey Clowder is a healthy raw/high quality fed cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #956000018346242, source #RE101165). She is available for adoption right now! Her adoption fee also includes her second vaccination at one of our rescue vets.

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
