Rare Snowshoe Cat - Seal Point Bicolour -Young Adult

Snowshoe Kittens & Cats Available Now - Abermain NSW

We'd like to introduce you to this gorgeous young man, Bellahima Linzer Beech, affectionately nicknamed "Black". Black is the last of his litter that is looking for his new human family. Due to events in my personal life, finding a new family for him has been put on the backburner. So he's been running with some of the adult cats in our home until his new family takes him home. He is an active and confident young man but is a little shy around strangers. It doesn't take him long to warm up to visitors and then transform into your new best buddy. He is very handsome with his symmetrical face blaze and muscular physique that the Snowshoe is known for. Black has adapted well to living with other adult cats but has a tendency to be domineering. He can be overbearing for my cats that have gentler natures.

Snowshoes are a stunning cat and a friendly breed that loves company. They typically get along well with other pets. They are intelligent and can be trained to walk on a harness and even do basic tricks. Our kittens are raised in the family home and enjoy the benefits of a busy household and a secure outside enclosure.

When considering adopting a young adult, potential new families need to commit to a settling in period of at least 8 weeks to allow this beautiful boy to feel comfortable in his new home. If you would to discuss the option of adopting Black, please contact Kerri on 0435 123 125.

Our standards & practices

Health testing & screening

Question. Do you health test in accordance with the current standards and recommended guidelines for your breed? Can you demonstrate your knowledge of any required DNA or other health related test results concerning your breed (if applicable).
Answer. Yes.I regularly have my breeding cats and kittens vet checked and do all testing recommended by the vet.

Preparation & socialisation

Question. Do you ensure that your kittens are appropriately socialised? Please provide details about how you raise your kittens to ensure that their environmental and social needs are met, that they are suitable as pets. And, do you ensure that the new family understands and is equipped to continue this socialisation?
Answer. Yes.Kittens are born in my bedroom and are handled daily from birth. Kittens are then socialised with other cats and family members as they grow.

Placement & matching

Question. Is ensuring that your kittens go to the right home a high priority? How do you ensure that the kitten will be a good fit, and be well cared for in its new home? Do you have a verbal or personal interview?
Answer. Yes.I screen potential families and ask a series of questions regarding their experience and knowledge of cats and specifically the breed. I speak with them on the phone multiple times and meet them face to face where possible.
Question. What written information about the conditions of sale, warranty, and information concerning the care and maintenance of the breed do you provide?
Answer. Yes.Health guarantee, replacement warranty, kittens are desexed prior to rehoming, I interview all potential families looking to adopt my kittens, guarantee to take kittens/cats back if the family is unable to properly care for them or their circumstances change that prevents them from keeping the kittens/cats.

Insurance options

Answer. Yes.Our kittens are covered by a complimentary 6 weeks health insurance policy from Petpcover Australia. New families have the option to continue the insurance policy at the end of the 6 weeks.
