Our dogs are All Family Pets first, Show Dogs second and Hunting Companions when they can bring themselves to get off the couch. We welcome enquiries from families who know Pointers well, and those who are just learning about this special breed.

Breeder Questionnaire

Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? Do you have sensible, sustainable breeding strategies in place to promote the health of your dogs and puppies?

Yes

Hip and elbow scoring is not required for Pointers, but it is suggested for GSPs and Vizslas and is undertaken by us.

Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?

Yes

Our puppies are raised within our home alongside our children and within our small pack, ensuring they receive appropriate correction from stable adult dogs as well as their siblings and humans. We take the time to perform early neurological exercises and later Puppy Culture.

Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?

Yes

All our puppies are sold under Contract, are vaccinated, microchipped & vet checked twice before leaving us. All Forever homes are provided with an extensive Puppy Training Manual & ANKC Registered Pedigree Papers. A fully completed introductory questionnaire as well as a verbal/personal interview is mandatory.

Question. Is ensuring that your puppies go to the right home a high priority? What type of measures do you take to ensure your dogs and puppies are going to go to loving homes?

Yes

Ensuring our puppies go to the right home is of the Highest Priority to us. We prefer to meet new homes well in advance of any litter being born & undertake extensive interviews after we have received fully completed questionnaires. We stay in close contact with each of our puppy homes for the life of the dog.

Question. Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes

We offer life long breeder access and support.

Question. Do you offer pet insurance?

Yes

All our puppies will leave with a minimum of six weeks pet insurance.

Question. Do you assist the buyer with re-homing an animal that was purchased from you if they are unable to keep it?

Yes

Any dog bred by us, under the terms of our Contract of Sale, Must be returned to us if the forever home can no longer look after them.
