Each puppy has already been
* Health checked and approved for sale by the Veterinarian
* They have received their first (C3) and second (C5) vaccinations
* They are microchipped
* They are having Nexgard Spectra Chewables administered MONTHLY, a treatment for a broad spectrum of parasites and controls flea allergy dermatitis
* They have DNA Puppy Parentage Certificates
* DNA clear of Labrador Specific Diseases
* They are accustomed to alone time in a crate
* And are getting better at using the toileting pads
When they leave us, each pup will have the following:-
* Genetic Health Summary from ORIVET
* Proof of Parentage Document from ORIVET
* Dogs Australia Limited Registration Certificate
* Mum and Litter scented cushion
* Handover with additional Information folder
* 2kg of ADVANCE Large Breed Puppy food

Both Sire and Dam have been tested for Labrador-specific diseases, and have had Hip and Elbow scoring. These documents will also be provided in your pack.

These puppies have been raised inside our family home, and are receiving plenty of human touch and cuddles. They have been gradually exposed to sensory and socialisation experiences, and loads of toys, including chew toys and chew treats.

Health testing & screening

Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? If your breed is prone to health issues, what are they, and what testing practices do you have in place?
Answer. Yes.My breeding bitch has a Comprehensive Genetic Report from Orivet, clearing her of labrador-specific diseases ; and a Canine Hip and Elbow (Orchid / Ched / Ankc) screening report dated 04 Mar 2022 We utilise the expertise of the Reproduction Services Team at QLD Veterinary Specialists, in Stafford, QLD, for their breeding and pregnancy services.We administer worming treatments each month to our dogs and take them along to our regular Vet for their yearly immunisation boosters and any other healths or treatments which may crop up along the way.

Preparation & socialisation

Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?
Answer. Yes.Puppies are raised within our family home so are central to all types of regular household noice and activities.They receive a lot of cuddles from us, and are in the same vicinity as our other pets. Crate and toilet training starts inside our double garage, where the pups also get to run around and play with balls and other toys. Before going to their new homes each puppy will be microchipped, have been wormed and received their first Vaccination.

Placement & matching

Question. Is making sure your puppies go to the right homes a priority? How do you ensure they are placed in loving, responsible homes?
Answer. Yes.We value open communication and informed decision making. So ensure we ask our potential puppy buyers to complete an Express Your Interest Form which includes questions about responsible puppy / dog ownership - We encourage and answer additional questions throughout the process from initial enquiry through to final payment which takes a few weeks before pups are even allowed to leave their mother. Arrange in-person meeting with puppy viewing, and prefer an in-person puppy collection
Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?
Answer. Yes.We ask potential puppy purchasers to complete an Express Your Interest - Form that includes responsible pet ownership questions. This form can be completed and submitted online from our website www.monnybrooklabradors.com/contactus/expressyourinterest-form New owners will be required to monitor that the adult teeth (particularly the canine teeth) come through satisfactorily and also to have this dog desexed when it is old enough. The new owners will also need to be willing to take on the committment of ensuring their growing puppy receives vaccinations and flea, tick and worming treatments as advised by their own Vet.
