Dalmatian Puppies to go home in late December

Dalmatian Puppies & Dogs Available Soon - Warragul VIC

We are excited to announce the pregnancy of Wally & Janet for our 'Jumping' Litter due in late October & old enough to go home in late December. We expect to have both black & liver (brown) spotted puppies born in this litter.

Our striking Dad to be Wally (Ch Headwick Tie the Knot ET) is the most affectionate, life loving boy around. If he had things his way, he would have constant cuddles. He was born to be a part of his human's life, whether cuddling on the couch or out for an adventure.

Mum to be Janet (Ch Edelevlek Dammit Janet ET RN) is our stunning black girl who despite some funny quirks, likes her sedate activites (she didn't read the user manual). She does like to come out for fun, but her favourite activities are lying on the bed sunbaking, or snuggling on the couch, using me as a pillow.

We are hoping for a blend of mum & dad's personalities in the puppies.
Both parents have been extensively health tested (contact us for info).

Our standards & practices

Health testing & screening

Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? If your breed is prone to health issues, what are they, and what testing practices do you have in place?
Answer. Yes.Health testing in our breed isn't as widely undertaken as I feel it should be, but my personal breeding dogs are: BAER, hip & elbow scored and DNA tested, plus annually heart (echo), thyroid and eye exams. All puppies that we sell go home with DNA profile and BAER testing.

Preparation & socialisation

Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?
Answer. Yes.Follow the puppy culture rearing protocol, with the addition of ENS, but also positively expose my puppies to many sounds, surfaces, sights and environments.

Placement & matching

Question. Is making sure your puppies go to the right homes a priority? How do you ensure they are placed in loving, responsible homes?
Answer. Yes.Matching puppies to the right homes is of utmost importance. I do not sell my pups to anyone who can pay, but to the most suitable. Not every family that contacts me is best suited to a dal with their energy and intelligence levels. Hence I start with a questionnaire, then meeting and interview before I offer families a place on our waiting list/if I have any pups available. Pups are not allocated until 8 weeks of age. When everyone comes into meet the pups at 6-7 weeks, we discuss each of the puppy's emerging personalities and how that would fit into their home. After their meet and greet, the families provide me with their list of preferred puppies in order, but ultimately I make the final decision to ensure that the right pups are matched with the right families. Usually families get their first or second preference, but can sometimes get caught up on the spots (the downfalls of a marked breed).
Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?
Answer. Yes.Questionnaire with application before in person or zoom meeting before offered a place on our waiting list. Contract with sale and pet pups home with sterilisation (OSS & vasectomy, NOT fully desexed). Co-ownership contracts and mentoring for those wishing to get into competitions and breeding. I do not have an official health guarantee in my contract as I feel that is hard to warrant with a biological creature, however I will only send puppies home that are healthy and well. If there is ever a problem, it will always be disclosed and covered. I also breed with my dogs with the aim to produce healthy pups, hence why I go above and beyond our breed requirements to help maximise the likelihood that our pups will live long, happy and healthy lives. As a breeder, it brings me so much pleasure to see my pups thriving, I do not want to ever see them suffering, hence will do everything in my power to keep them healthy, happy and safe.

Insurance options

Question. Do you offer pet insurance?
Answer. Yes.Petcover - free 6 week policy

Ongoing support

Question. Do you offer ongoing support?
Answer. Yes.Have a private FB group for my families and am always available for contact for questions via phone call, email or text. We send pups home with an extensive booklet covering all aspects of puppy rearing, which I walk them through to focus on their lifestyles/homes to help them get the best out of their new pup.
Question. Do you assist the buyer with re-homing an animal that was purchased from you if they are unable to keep it?
Answer. Yes.My contract states that they must be returned to me if rehoming is required. I then assess where how the dog has matured, assess their personality and needs, then I find them a suitable home.
