Zippy Snail and her mum and brothers were found living in someone's garage, unsure of the world but safe enough to grow until rescue arrived. Since coming into care, she's been discovering what it means to be loved and looked after, slowly but surely learning that humans can be trusted.
Zippy Snail is a fluffy, white-and-black Domestic Long Hair kitten with a soft, sweet look and a personality that emerges gently over time. She's more independent and slightly more hesitant than her brothers, but she adores racing around with them, joining in the games when she's ready and watching from the sidelines when she needs a moment. She's playful, fast, a little clumsy, quietly chatty with other cats, and absolutely loves her food. When she sleeps, she melts into cosy kitten piles with her brothers, a total sweetheart in her safe space.
Zippy Snail would thrive in a calm home that understands shy or cautious kittens and will let her bloom at her own pace. She's excellent with other cats and would do best with at least one confident feline friend to help her continue learning. She's selective with dogs and has not been tested with children, so a gentle, predictable environment will help her feel secure.
Her quirks are as endearing as her name--she takes a bit longer to warm up to new people and experiences, but the patience you give her will be returned with trust, affection, and her adorable kitten antics. To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
