Jaguar came into care with his mum Buu and two siblings after the family who found them realised they couldn't keep the litter. Surrendered to Cat People of Melbourne at just five weeks old, he has been raised safely in foster care with his mum and littermates.
Jaguar is a sleek little panther with shiny all-black fur and adorably oversized ears that may or may not catch up with the rest of him. He is active, agile, alert, curious, dependent, fast, shy, timid, delicate and quietly sweet. Still building his confidence, he's happiest with his siblings and loves chasing balls, wrestling, and zooming around before collapsing into a cozy nap pile.
Jaguar would suit a calm, patient home that understands shy kittens need gentle introductions to new people and environments. He would benefit from another friendly cat or kitten in the home to reassure him and continue helping his confidence grow. He should be fine with respectful children and may do well with cat-savvy dogs after slow introductions.
Jaguar's best features include his playful nature, his fascination with toys, and his adorable routine of playing hard then falling fast asleep. He enjoys exploring, snoozing, and being close to his siblings. He dislikes loud noises and strangers approaching too quickly.

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
