Valiant, Versatile and Vigilant. We believe in the whole Dobermann, Type, temperament, soundness, longevity, versatility. Quality Breeder of Dobermann Puppies in Perth WA. Established in 1973 by the late Jacque Kenworthy and proudly continued by her daughter Catherine Murphy.

The primary goal of our breeding program, here at Valkyrian Dobermanns, with health as our first priority, is to produce CORRECT TYPE, the Ultimate Dobermann being loyal, intelligent, elegant, and of powerful breed type.

To this end we have imported 6 Dobermanns in the past 7 years (5 produced by frozen semen of famous dogs from over 20 years ago). They are true to breed type and as such are stable, calm, devoted, highly trainable and intelligent family guardians.

We compete in conformation shows but also Agility, Tracking and games.

We offer full breeder support and like to have new owners stay in touch.

We health test all our potential breeding dogs by full DNA through Orivet.

Breeder Questionnaire

Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? Do you have sensible, sustainable breeding strategies in place to promote the health of your dogs and puppies?

Yes

I do a full breed profile DNA through Orivet, I am also the authorised Orivet collection agent in WA. I have also started doing Pennhip scores even though it is not done by other Dobermann Breeders in Australia.

Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?

Yes

I raise all of my litters using Puppy Culture Protocols and have done for the last 8 years.

Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?

Yes

Contract requiring desexing at 18 months of age, health guarantee against testable genentic diseases, buyer questionnaire and personal interview.

Question. Is ensuring that your puppies go to the right home a high priority? What type of measures do you take to ensure your dogs and puppies are going to go to loving homes?

Yes

Personal interview prior to being able to be placed on the waitlist. Then individual personality and character matching of puppies to homes.

Question. Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes

I offer lifetime support and a condition of the contract is if they are unable to keep the dog for the term of its natural life it must be returned to me
