Cheeky boy Liquorice came into care from a backyard life, and has taken some time to transition into a house. However, it's not his (adorable!) sense of shyness - he just doesn't realise his own strength! He will sneak off with your dinner when your back is turned, and has a very BOLD style of play! While he's learned that hands aren't chew toys, he does love to chase feet under blankets and seems to forget that he has claws.
This handsome boy has a glossy long black coat with striking grey tufts of fur in his ears that make him stand out. His one white whisker makes his foster carer giggle when they notice. Liquorice is playful and curious, especially when it comes to chasing balls, springs and toys. He is a little bit clueless with the fast red dot, and is extremely food motivated, which will help you to bond with him and welcome him into your home with treats.
Liquorice would do best in a calm and understanding home with people who can give him the time and patience he needs to fully blossom. He's good with other cats and would thrive with a feline friend to help show him the ropes. He can be selective with dogs and would be best suited to a household with children over 12 who can respect his gentle nature. He is fairly adaptable as long as he's given the right environment to thrive.
While he may not come out to greet you on your first visit, his innocent dorkiness will shine once he has settled in. Liquorice is sure to steal your heart, and your croissants!

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
