Hunter and his siblings were trapped in Sunshine and brought into care with Cat People of Melbourne. From the moment he arrived, his goofy, affectionate nature has made him a favourite.

Hunter is a short-haired brown tabby with a strong square face that gives him a striking look. He's all love and not much brains -- a clumsy, amusing, and utterly huggable boy. He loves to sleep on your legs, knead your feet (whether it tickles you or not!), and play with absolutely anything he can get his paws on. Fake bugs and laser pointers are particular favourites.
This handsome boy is looking for a home where he will have companionship and plenty of interaction -- he's needy in the best way and always up for a pat. He's good with other cats, selective with dogs, and great with children who can share in his playful and cuddly antics.
Hunter is silly in the most endearing ways: he likes to drink water from his paw (so a splash mat is a good idea!) and he's hilariously dramatic about scary things like the vacuum cleaner or dinner being late. Hunter is a healthy raw/high quality fed kitten who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #956000017356929, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption. His adoption fee also includes his second vaccination at one of our rescue vets.

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
