Johnny - Smart AND Handsome

Johnny was a resourceful stray who turned up at his foster carer's property, determined to find a warm, safe place to belong. He likely lived a tough life on the streets but showed he was ready for a new chapter the moment he locked eyes with his human. With some patience and love, Johnny quickly transitioned from hissing and swatting to snuggling and seeking out affection--proof that he was just waiting for the right person to believe in him.

Johnny is a strikingly handsome, bushy-tailed boy with a distinctive grey mask and cape over a soft white coat. He has a broad build, expressive eyes, and an intelligent gaze. He's curious, chatty, and playful, especially fond of rope toys and scratchers. No matter how comfortable he is in a nap, if his person enters the room, Johnny will always get up to greet them with enthusiasm. He's alert, intuitive, and street-smart--and not afraid to let the vacuum know who's boss (although he's still learning to coexist with it!).

Johnny would thrive in a home where he can be the only cat--he's not keen on other felines in his space, but may tolerate a calm dog with respectful boundaries. He needs a calm adult household with someone who can appreciate his sensitivity and independent streak while offering the stability and affection he now craves. He's ready to be someone's fiercely loyal best friend.

Johnny is no ordinary cat. He's clever--clever enough to understand when he was asked to go to the front door for food--and deeply in tune with his surroundings and people. He would make an incredible companion for someone who values intelligence and connection in a pet. With time, love, and consistency, Johnny will be the cat who follows you from room to room, guards your heart, and makes you laugh every day.

Johnny is a healthy raw/high quality fed cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #953010007939998, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption right now!

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
