Maru was adopted from Cat People of Melbourne in 2020 as a kitten, but after his adopter's health declined, he and his sister Hana have returned to care. He may have started small, but he's certainly made up for lost time--Maru is now a glorious, plush, chonky gentleman with a heart as soft as his fur.

With a marbled tabby saddle and a staffy-like build, Maru is a big cuddlebug who just wants to be loved. He chirps hello, holds his tail high when he sees you, and leans into gentle pats like he's soaking up every drop of affection. He adores his sister Hana and is still a little unsure around other foster cats, but he's gaining confidence each day and becoming more affectionate with his humans.
Maru would thrive in a calm, quiet household with someone who can give him time to settle and lots of reassurance. He's not a fan of loud noises, confrontation, or missing dinner--fair enough, honestly--but once he feels safe, he's the perfect plush snuggle companion.

Maru is a healthy raw/high quality fed cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #953010004571579, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption right now!

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
