STOP PRESS!! A miracle has happened, Miss Grumparella has found her confidence and a best freind in the form of Snowman. Not so Grumparella now comes out to say hello with her tail up, purrs when gently stroked and spends time with her new bestie Snowman.
Grumparella was rescued by another group, but despite their best efforts, she just didn't connect with potential adopters. She came to CPoM for kitty finishing school, where she's making slow but steady progress. While she still greets her foster carer with aeroplane ears, she absolutely adores other cats!

Grumparella is a striking grey-and-white tuxedo kitten with big, beautiful eyes and the softest fur. She has a perpetually unimpressed expression when looking at humans, but don't let that fool you--she's just a shy girl figuring out the world. She finds great comfort in the company of other cats and thrives in a feline-friendly home.
Grumparella will need a patient and understanding adopter willing to give her the time she needs to build trust. She must go to a home with at least one friendly, confident cat to help her settle. She would do best in a quiet household with experienced cat people, and she is suited to homes with adults or older children (12+). She is selective with dogs but may adjust to a calm, cat-savvy one.
Grumparella is not aggressive--just wary. She can be picked up and cuddled, but she prefers to keep her distance until she feels truly safe. With time and patience, she has the potential to bond with her special human. She loves food and enjoys watching the world from a safe vantage point, often observing her human from afar. If you're willing to earn her trust, you'll be rewarded with a beautiful, unique companion.
Grumparella has received all her vet work, including desexing, microchipping (microchip #956000018835402, source #RE101165) and vaccinations (including her second vaccination). She has been treated for fleas and worms. She is in good health and ready to find her forever home!

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
