We are a small registered breeder of British Shorthairs. All kittens are born in our home and well socialised. Kitten enquiries welcome.

Breeder Questionnaire

Question. Do you health test in accordance with the current standards and recommended guidelines for your breed? This includes genetic testing, and having sensible, sustainable breeding strategies in place to promote the health of your cats and kittens.
My queens only have one litter per year starting at age 2, and retire at 5 years old.
Question. Do you ensure that your kittens are appropriately socialised.
Kittens are brought up in our home. They are handled everyday, and leave us as lap cats.
Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?
Our kittens go to their forever homes already desexed, microchipped, vaccinated twice, vet checked twice, pedigree papers, flea/worm treated. I would never sell a kitten that had a health issue.
Question. Is ensuring that your kittens go to the right home a high priority? What measures do you take to ensure your cats and kittens are going to responsible, loving homes?
We like to place our kittens with loving indoor homes only.
Question. Do you offer ongoing support?
New and old Cattitudes kitten/cat owners can contact us at any time, no matter how small the question. We also provide a kitten folder with cat care, and breed information when kitten leaves us.
Question. Do you assist the buyer with re-homing an animal that was purchased from you if they are unable to keep it?
This has happened twice. Once due to ill health, the other due to extreme allergies.
Question. Do you offer pet insurance?
