Rislani Siamese & Orientals is a small cattery based in Gippsland Victoria and has been operating since 2006. Our love for the Siamese cat started thanks to a Seal Point Siamese by the name of Fabio. Originally, when we became registered breeders, we simply aimed to breed healthy well-adjusted kittens that would become the type of pet we experienced ourselves with Fabio. However, as time drew on we made the decision to move into specialising in traditional, or applehead, Siamese. As applehead Siamese are quite uncommon, our progression to this type of cat is still in progress, however we do carefully choose our breeding cats specifically to assist us breed applehead cats. At this time, we are breeding cats that are about halfway in-between the current extreme cats and the applehead.
We are proudly registered with The Governing Council of Victoria & Australia Inc (GCCFV). All of our cats have been DNA tested for Progressive Retinal Atrophy through Animal DNA Laboratory.
Information about Rislani Siamese & Oriental Kittens:
All our kittens are lovingly hand raised within the home so they are well adjusted kittens used to normal household noises. Our 'pet-only' kittens are: de-sexed, microchipped, vaccinated (2x) and come with a Kitten pack along with some of the things you will need for the first few days with your new kitten. Kittens are ready to leave for their new homes at 14-16 weeks of age, however we encourage people to come and visit as often as possible after the kittens first vaccination so they can get used to you prior to collection.
We are only a very small cattery and therefore do not have many litters a year - waiting lists often do apply. If you wish to be placed on our obligation free waiting list, please contact us via email advising what type, sex and colour kitten you would like to adopt so we can add you to this list. To maintain your spot on the waiting list you will need to keep in touch with us, otherwise we will assume you have found what you are after with another breeder and no longer wish to be on the waiting list.
At the time of collecting your kitten, you will be expected to sign a contract in which you will agree to keep the kitten indoors at all times unless allowed outside in a fully enclosed, secure cat pen. It will also outline our obligations to you to ensure the quality and health of your kitten.
Please be aware NO kitten will leave our care unless de-sexed; so please don't ask unless you are a registered breeder who practices early de-sexing as refusal may offend.
If you'd like to contact us please send a message or call between 5:00PM - 8:00PM on weekdays.
