Protectabull is a small French Bulldog Breeder located in Northern Brisbane. We pride ourselves in breeding for temperament first and mostly and also of course correct conformation of this beautiful breed.

We welcome any enquires if you are looking for your new best friend for life. These guys are very loyal and we just love them to bits. We have been involved in showing and breeding Bullmastiffs for over 20 years now and pride ourselves in carefully selecting our breeding stock.

Breeder Questionnaire

Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? Do you have sensible, sustainable breeding strategies in place to promote the health of your dogs and puppies?

All parents are spine and hipscored at the age of 12 months old and all of the pups I breed get the 8 week preliminary xrays completed

Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?

Yes

Yes all pups are well socialised with my other dogs prior to them leaving for their new homes

Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?

Yes

In person interviews conducted, desexing contracts and limited registration paper work to be completed in accordance with Dogs QLD rules

Question. Is ensuring that your puppies go to the right home a high priority? What type of measures do you take to ensure your dogs and puppies are going to go to loving homes?

Full interview conducted, meeting the new owners around 5 weeks of age.

Question. Do you offer ongoing support?

For the life of the puppy even in the event that I no longer choose to breed.

Question. Do you offer pet insurance?

Yes I recommend the new owner get pet insurance that is right for them from either Bow Wow Meow or Tripanion.

Question. Do you assist the buyer with re-homing an animal that was purchased from you if they are unable to keep it?
