DD has been desexed, microchipped, flea, tick and worm treated, vaccinated and heartworm tested negative.

DD is new to everything and still quite skittish around sudden or loud noises, and has taken a little while for his personality to come out. He's very friendly, always wants to see what you're up to as he's very inquisitive (he's a shadow) and gets very excited to see you when you get home. He loves his zoomie time and walks and would suit someone who has the time to walk him regularly as he gets bored without stimulation and does chew toys and clothes/shoes if left unattended. He'd be great with kids, but not little ones because he gets too excited. Loves his food and treats, walks well on lead.

Meet DD, whose racing name was Detrie Bale, a beautiful Greyhound born on May 1, 2021. This handsome hound is eager for a new family to love and cherish. As he is a large dog, an appropriate setup with dog-proof fencing is essential. DD is located in Cairns and has been desexed, microchipped, flea, tick and worm treated, vaccinated, and has tested negative for heartworm.

DD is a friendly, curious, and intelligent boy who's always interested in what you're up to. His inquisitive nature means he will often act as your little shadow, keeping you company throughout the day. Although he can be skittish around sudden or loud noises, don't let that deter you. Give him a little time and his loving personality shines through, especially when he gets excited to see you when you come home.

Despite being a retired racer, DD is still full of energy and loves his "zoomies" and walks. He requires regular exercise to keep him stimulated and happy. If he doesn't receive the needed stimulation, he might resort to chewing toys or your belongings. Because of his playful exuberance, he would do better in a home without small children, but he adores kids and would thrive in a family setting. DD also walks well on a lead and is a fan of tasty treats, making training a joy.

Though currently not tested with cats and other animals like birds, DD is friendly with other dogs. He comes with a stylish martingale collar and a cozy winter jacket to keep him warm during cooler months.
